On February 1, Zetastone Cable sped 800 kilometers within 24 hours to support the construction of Leishenshan Hospital. On July 29, Zetastone Cable-Xi'an Jiaotong University off-campus practice and education base was established, opening the company's “three schools, two institutes and three centers” of industry-university-research cooperation and joint innovation and development pattern.
October 16, held a meeting to discuss the ten-year development plan of Zetastone Cable, planning the blueprint for cable sales target of 30 billion.
On March 22, its subsidiary Zhongda Yuantong Special Cable Co., Ltd. was included in the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission's (SASAC) list of "Sci-Tech Innovation Demonstration Enterprises."

In July, the Chongxian factory of Zhejiang Yuantong Wire & Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was demolished.
On September 2, Yuantong Wire & Cable was approved as a national-level "Specialized, Sophisticated, and Innovative ('Little Giant')" enterprise for the first time. On September 29, the construction of Zetastone Yuantong Wire & Cable's annual production project of 500,000 kilometers of special cables (Mogao plot) commenced.
