On June 11, Yu Can, Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commissioner of Wuchan Zhongda Group, led a delegation to the Deqing Intelligent Manufacturing Base of Zetastone Cable, a subsidiary of Wuchan Zhongda Yuantong Industrial Corporation, to conduct a special research visit. Zhu Qingbo, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Wuchan Zhongda Yuantong Industrial Corporation, and others participated in the visit and delivered reports.
Yu Can and the delegation went deep into the front line of the production workshops to inspect production and operations on site, with a particular focus on the implementation of specific measures such as 6S management and lean management.
After hearing the relevant work reports, Yu Can fully recognized the achievements made by Zetastone Cable in lean production, market expansion and other areas. She noted that, within the framework of a state-owned system, the cable company has fully leveraged the advantages of market-oriented mechanisms and delivered strong performance in sales and production management. Regarding the next steps, she emphasized the need to guide officials at all levels to focus on practical work and tangible results while firmly avoiding short-term behavior; to continue advancing penetrating management and control, and improve refined management across production, operations, compliance and other processes; and to further strengthen Party conduct and clean governance, reinforce risk prevention and control as well as disciplinary constraints, and build a solid line of defense for integrity in professional conduct.
Zhu Qingbo reported on the overall operations of Wuchan Zhongda Yuantong Industrial Corporation. He stated that the company has deeply integrated lean production into its operations and management, focusing on addressing key issues such as the alignment between production and customer needs and product quality. Through continued management optimization and the application of digital tools, the company expects to achieve notable cost reduction and efficiency improvement results this year, laying a solid foundation for its subsequent development.
Yang Zhaowen, Party Committee Member of Wuchan Zhongda Yuantong Industrial Corporation and Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Zetastone Cable, reported on the wire and cable industry environment and the company’s current operating conditions. He stated that, in the face of intensifying industry competition and cost pressures, the company has relied on the Group platform, flexibly adjusted its product structure, increased efforts to expand special cable offerings, and maintained steady growth in operating scale.

With 15 years in cable manufacturing, Michael specializes in conductor material science and high-voltage applications. He has led development projects for China's ultra-high-voltage transmission network and holds three patents in conductor alloy technology. Before joining Zetastone, Michael worked with State Grid Corporation on nationwide grid upgrades.
