On February 6, Wuchan Zhongda Yuantong Cable Co., Ltd. convened its 2026 Annual Work Conference. Qingbo Zhu, President and CEO of the Industrial Company, highly commended the company's work performance and achievements in 2025. He pointed out that over the past year, centering on Wuchan Zhongda Group's strategic priorities of "promoting innovation, expanding investment, and increasing efficiency" and the Industrial Company's guiding principle of "Precision Industry," the company anchored itself to the strategic objectives of the "15th Five-Year Plan," focused on developing towards "high-end," "innovation," and "internationalization," and successfully completed all tasks and targets of the "14th Five-Year Plan" with high quality. He emphasized the need to always maintain strategic clarity and operational discipline, continuously address structural gaps, and ensure organizational alignment in strategic execution. Efforts should concentrate on building differentiated competitive advantages, striving to become an industry benchmark or even surpass it, while capitalizing on strategic opportunities during critical adjustment periods.

Chairman Delivers Keynote Address
Zhaowen Yang, Chairman and President, delivered a keynote address, stating: "Professional excellence fundamentally derives from practical experience. Despite challenging market conditions and intense competition, our company's achievement of counter-cyclical growth reflects both our deep commitment to corporate governance principles and the effective implementation of last year's strategic initiatives." He emphasized: "We must fully recognize that navigating economic cycles requires concrete actions, not just rhetoric." He urged all employees to embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, proactively learn from industry leaders, and benchmark against best practices. With a strong sense of urgency and purpose, the organization should drive a profound transformation in capabilities and operational excellence. This requires not only enhancing technical "hard skills" but also developing comprehensive "soft skills" across the workforce, thereby contributing to the successful realization of the company's "15th Five-Year Plan" strategic objectives.
Chief Executive Officer Presents Annual Business Report
Weijiang Tu, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, delivered an annual report titled "Enhancing Core Competencies Through Operational Excellence, Driving Growth Through Innovation, and Advancing the High-Quality Development of Cable Manufacturing." CEO Tu noted that over the past year, all employees demonstrated exceptional dedication through "extraordinary effort," driving sustained momentum and achieving new revenue growth in cable operations while maintaining strong growth trends. Looking ahead, the company will continue to align with Group and Industrial Company strategies, remain focused on "15th Five-Year Plan" objectives, build upon industry foundations, center on "a unified strategic vision," strengthen "two fundamental capabilities," enhance "four key competencies," and systematically develop the "strategic resilience" and "growth potential" essential for sustainable high-quality development.
Wanfang Chen, Executive Vice Chairperson, delivered a strategic report titled "Strengthening Foundations, Driving Growth: Advancing Zhongda Yuantong Cable Through Innovation and Quality Excellence." She highlighted that as the inaugural year of the "15th Five-Year Plan," priorities include deepening the integration of corporate governance with business operations, advancing talent and leadership development; comprehensively upgrading lean production management systems; and fostering collaborative innovation in strategic projects to ensure a strong foundation for Zhongda Yuantong Cable's "15th Five-Year Plan" implementation.
Other members of the executive leadership and representatives from high-performing teams also delivered summary remarks.
Recognition of Excellence, Demonstration of Capability
The conference acknowledged awards received by Wuchan Zhongda Group and its industrial subsidiaries, with outstanding teams and individuals at the company level being honored during the ceremony.
With 15 years in cable manufacturing, Michael specializes in conductor material science and high-voltage applications. He has led development projects for China's ultra-high-voltage transmission network and holds three patents in conductor alloy technology. Before joining Zetastone, Michael worked with State Grid Corporation on nationwide grid upgrades.
